Introducing: TristanErvin.com

Yep, the moment I've been waiting for has finally arrived. I finally was able to get my website up and running about two weeks ago, thanks in major part to Leslie Mack. "The Mack of all trades", if you will. Hopefully business will become more booming once people begin to take notice. Tristan Ervin Photography just became that much more legit. Check out these screen shots.

  1. Great page, It looks really good and the best part is that it loads fast so... GOOD! I have to start designing my web page too. I hope I can learn to do it at this level!!! I'm and eclectic man, i like to learn how to make it all, hahaha

  2. I'm not going to lie, it's not bad! BUT...I was actually thinking the opposite of Ferran, I found it taking a long time to load. A lot of the information is presented very 'klunky' and is distracting from the actual work. She knows her programming skills, but doesn't have a solid grasp of web design hierarchy. And that is not a dismissal of her work, it is simply there are very few (even professionals) people out there who have a mastery of both, they either tilt more towards design relevance, or more towards programming relevance. Both are equally important and it look like Leslie's skill set tilts towards the latter, but good for her to know that skill.

I will say 'enter/intro' pages are very nineties, they aren't needed, take us right to the heart of the content first and foremost. Don't make your users think!

But I am VERY glad to see you starting and organizing a web project of your own free will! Actually taking those first steps is challenging, Consider a bit more written content too, images are there for most of the talking, but
